The Spy doesn't know where they are, but wins the round if they can figure it out before they blow their cover! Players then start asking each other questions during the intense 8-minute rounds. At the start of each round, players receive a secret card informing them of the group's location - a casino, space station, pirate ship, circus, (30 unique locations!) - except that one player receives the SPY card instead of the location. The game ends after a few rounds and whoever has scored the most points is victorious.SPYFALL is an easy-to-learn card game of bluffing, probing questions, clever answers, and suspicion.

The result is a knife-edge game of guessing, suspicion and bluffing. If they guess correctly then only the spy scores points. The spy can guess the location at any point as well. If they are the spy everyone else scores points. If everyone agrees the accused player reveals their identity. You each answer questions in the mode of the role on your card, and then get to choose another player to ask a question of.Īnyone can accuse another player of being a spy. The spy doesn't know where they are so has to listen carefully and try and contribute without giving themselves away. You then set about asking each other questions to try and wheedle out who knows the location and who doesn't. However, the spy's card says "Spy" instead of the location. Each round they display one of the game's locations: a casino, a travelling circus, a pirate ship, a space station and so on. Play involves dealing out a series of cards to each play.

It's clever because you have to share enough information to test other players, without oversharing and giving away the location to the spy player. All of you know what the location is apart from the spy. Spyfall is a communication party game where you try and tell who is a spy by giving subtle clues to the innocent player's location.
